About this find

The Alpha Commander Tee from Alpha Industries is a short-sleeve crew-neck t-shirt in medium charcoal heather. The neckline has a ribbed-looking self-fabric band that frames the collar neatly. The mixed charcoal tone gives the shirt a soft, lived-in color that sits well with dark and neutral pieces already in your closet.

The star of this tee is the large graphic on the front chest, placed just left of center. It shows a stylized head wearing a helmet and dark goggles or sunglasses. Vertical block lettering runs down the left side of the artwork, joined by thin parallel vertical lines and a small arrow for a graphic, military-inspired feel.

Look closer and you will find thin line-art framing near the bottom of the graphic. The frame has an angled corner and ends with a small winged logo mark. Little extras show up elsewhere too: a small woven label stitched near the lower front hem and a tab label at the sleeve cuff.

Inside the back neck, you will see a printed logo and text detail. Because the artwork already carries so much character, a plain pair of dark jeans lets the graphic do the talking. Try an open overshirt on top when you want a layered look with the print still peeking through.
