The Gregory Alpinisto 35 Pack is a mountaineering backpack with a 32 liter capacity, or 1,953 cubic inches. It measures 27 x 14 x 9.5 inches and weighs 3 lbs. 4 oz. The body is made from 210-denier high-density 45% recycled nylon with C0 DWR (durable water repellent), designed without PFAS. A dual-layer panel adds durability, and the back panel sheds snow.

A full-length side-access zipper with locking dual sliders opens the main compartment, and the separating top skirt gives access from above. The dual storm skirt top closes with a quick-pull drawcord and has room for helmet storage. The floating top pocket has a zippered pocket underneath and a key clip. Zipper pulls are molded for grip, and the hardware is glove-friendly.

The FusionFlex suspension uses a tubular 7001 aluminum perimeter frame, an anti-barreling cross stay and a lightweight framesheet. The harness and hipbelt are designed to work while wearing a climbing harness. The hipbelt has a zippered pocket, a gear loop with ice clipper, and sled attachment loops. It fits torsos of 16-18 inches and waists or hips of 27-45 inches.

For lighter trips, the framesheet, perimeter frame, hipbelt and top pocket can all be removed. Outside, an oversized crampon pocket has reinforced abrasion zones, and a webbing pass-through holds ice tools. The A-frame carry system fits fat skis and splitboards. If you carry water, set your own reservoir in the internal hydration sleeve, which has a hanger and port. The reservoir is not included.
