The Big Agnes Dog House 6 Tent is a single-wall family shelter with steep walls that give the whole gang room to spread out. The tent body is polyester with a 1500mm waterproof polyurethane coating, paired with nylon mesh, and every seam is taped with waterproof polyurethane tape. It arrives ready to pitch, with pre-cut guylines and tensioners already attached to the tent, and the guylines and webbing are reflective.

The front door is a dry-entry design that opens smoothly and needs just one hand, which is handy when your arms are full of gear. A large back window lets in extra ventilation and gives you a view of the weather outside. Two vents add more air flow and help reduce condensation inside. Plastic clips and sleeves attach the tent body to the DAC DA17 lightweight aluminum pole set, and eight lightweight aluminum hook stakes are included.

Inside, you get 2 mesh pockets for small items and multiple loops for attaching gear lofts, accessories and mtnGLO Tent & Camp Lights. Gear loft loops are included, and the tent fits Large Trapezoid and Triangle gear lofts, which are sold separately. Shelter Mode setup is not available with this model. Hang a light from the interior loops before dark so your gear is easy to find.
