BruteMagnetics 1200 lb Bundle

About this find

The BruteMagnetics 1200 lb Bundle is a magnet fishing kit built around a double-sided magnet. The magnet delivers 1,200 pounds of pulling force and measures 2.95 inches in diameter. It is made with rare earth neodymium, the strongest permanent magnetic material available, and because both sides are magnetic, either face can pick up metal as it drags along the bottom.

The magnet connects to 65 feet of 1/4-inch double-braided rope. The rope is looped and sewn with a plastic thimble, and its breaking strength is 1,680 pounds. A locking carabiner rated to 5,600 pounds is included, so you can clip the line to the magnet and get started without hunting for separate hardware.

Threadlocker is also in the bundle to help secure the eyebolt while you magnet fish. Gloves come in the kit too, which is handy when you are hauling in wet rope and whatever the magnet has caught. Check that the eyebolt is snug before every throw so the magnet stays attached to the line.

The rope may arrive in red or orange, so the exact color can vary. This bundle is imported. For anyone new to the hobby or adding to their gear, it brings together a magnet, a long rope, a locking carabiner, threadlocker and gloves in one package, so the basics are covered.
