Classic Comfort 3.8 Sleeping Pad

About this find

The Mountain Equipment Classic Comfort 3.8 is a sleeping pad that combines two different foam constructions for comfort and warmth. It is a mat for nights away from your usual bed, with a 3.8cm thickness in both the Regular and XL versions. The choice between the two is mainly about the space you want to sleep on.

The Regular mat measures 183cm long and 51cm wide. Its weight is 700g, or 25oz. That gives you a clear set of measurements to work with when you are planning your sleeping space and comparing what will go into your camping kit. The mat is one part of that setup, alongside your own bedding.

The XL version measures 198cm long and 66cm wide, with the same 3.8cm thickness. It weighs 950g, or 34oz. The extra length and width give you a larger sleeping surface, while the greater weight is part of the trade-off between the two sizes.

Measure your tent floor before choosing between the Regular and XL. The two foam constructions are designed to balance comfort and warmth, and the size guide makes the differences easy to understand. This is a practical option for campers who want clear dimensions when putting together a place to rest.
