The Copper Hotel HV UL Rainfly from Big Agnes is an add-on for Copper Spur UL tent owners who want more covered space outside the sleeping area. It features an extended vestibule with two awning-style doors, giving you, your gear, or your dog a bit more room. The tent body is not included.

The fly is made from proprietary ultralight double ripstop, mixed denier nylon that is water-repellent and silicone treated, with a solution dyed ripstop grid. It has a 1200mm waterproof polyurethane coating and waterproof, solvent-free polyurethane taped seams. The fabric adds tear strength and puncture resistance without adding weight.

Setup is simple. The fly arrives ready to pitch, with pre-cut guylines and tensioners already attached. Hook and loop tabs connect the fly to the pole structure for a steady pitch. The awnings can be propped with trekking poles or with the four extra guylines included, and the stakes are 6-inch Dirt Dagger UL aluminum stakes.

Two fly vents boost airflow and help reduce condensation, and the Low Vent on the doors lets air move while the vestibule still gives coverage. A toggle door keeper stows an unzipped door quickly, and easy-grip zipper pulls help with gloves on. Prop the awning with trekking poles on dry evenings for a little extra airflow. Trail weight with the tent body is 3 lb 8 oz.
