Copper Spur HV UL1 & mtnGLO® Footprint

About this find

The Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL1 and mtnGLO Footprint is made to sit under your tent. Big Agnes recommends using this footprint or a ground cloth to extend the life of your tent floor. If you camp often, adding a layer between the floor and the ground is a sensible way to look after your shelter.

This footprint also gives you a second way to use your gear. With it, you can pitch a lightweight Fast Fly shelter and leave the tent body behind. That means less to carry on trips where you want to travel light but still need a roof overhead.

The Fast Fly configuration needs four items to come together: the footprint, the tent fly, the poles, and the stakes. Without all four, the shelter cannot be pitched this way. Before you leave home, check that all four are in your pack. Packing them as a set keeps setup simple at camp.

The footprint is made for the Copper Spur HV UL1 tent, so it is the right match for that model. Use it under the full tent for longer floor life, or as the base of a lighter Fast Fly setup. Either way, it adds flexibility to the shelter you already own.
