The Coraje Tech Short from Cotopaxi is made for trail days, from ridgeline scrambles to slot canyon wandering. The fabric is a 96% recycled nylon and 4% spandex blend that stretches in two directions and stays breathable as you climb, step up and reach. It dries quickly after a splash or a sweaty push uphill, and it offers UPF 50+ sun protection when the trail has little shade.

The fit is regular, with a straight leg and an 8" inseam. Sizing is numerical, so you can choose the number that matches your waist measurement and get a more dialed-in fit than a simple small, medium or large.

There is plenty of room to carry what you need. You get 2 hand pockets, a zippered thigh pocket and a secure back patch pocket, so your phone, keys and small gear each have a place. A utility loop at the waistband gives you a spot to clip a carabiner or other light gear. Zip the thigh pocket closed before a rocky section so your gear stays put.
