The Scarpa Crux Approach Shoes are men's ankle-height shoes for climbing and hiking. Their lace-to-toe design lets you fine-tune the fit along the whole length of the shoe. Relaxed lacing gives more comfort, while tightening all the way to the toe maximizes climbing performance. The closure is a lace-up, so you set the tension to suit the day.

The uppers are 1.8 mm suede, which gives the shoes long-lasting durability. Rubber toe rands add superior abrasion resistance at the front of the shoe. Inside, the lining is recycled polyester, and the midsole is EVA. Together, these pieces make up a shoe that is built for the trail as well as the rock.

Underneath is a Vibram Vertical Approach outsole made with Megagrip rubber for outstanding traction. The sole can be resoled, so a worn outsole does not have to mean the end of the pair. If you like a snug feel on steeper ground, lace them tight all the way to the toe before you start climbing.
