The Osprey Downburst 34 Pack is a women's hiking backpack with a 34-liter capacity and an internal frame. The main body is bluepass certified 100% recycled 210-denier nylon with high-tenacity double ripstop, coated with TPU laminate. The main compartment is IPX5-rated waterproof, with RF-welded construction and a welded PU-laminated YKK zipper. A raincover is not included.

A down-facing zip flap keeps weather out even if it is left unsecured, and the top can be rolled twice before buckling for maximum water resistance. An internal zippered mesh pocket with a key clip holds your keys, phone and wallet. Dual zippered hipbelt pockets keep smaller items handy. Keep a snack in a hipbelt pocket so you can eat without unpacking.

Dual-access side bottle pockets keep bottles secure and reachable. The rugged, gusseted front compression pocket manages overloads and keeps layers and shells accessible, and dual upper and lower side compression straps help cinch things down. An external hydration reservoir sleeve has a center pass-through port, though the hydration system is not included. Poles can be carried with Stow-on-the-Go, and an ice axe or trekking pole loop has a bungee tie-off.

The AirSpeed suspension has a suspended mesh back panel for breathability. Torso length adjusts to fit 14 to 19 inches, and the hipbelt fits waists or hips from 24 to 44 inches. A sternum strap with a whistle is included. The pack weighs 3 pounds 4.4 ounces and measures 24.8 x 13.78 x 12.6 inches.
