About this find

The DSG Girls' High Waisted Bikini Swim Bottoms are fitted swim shorts made for pool days and beach trips. They are made from 87% recycled polyester and 13% spandex, so the fabric has some stretch to move with her as she swims and plays. The style number is DSG15400DPRT, which can help when you are looking for the exact pair again.

The high rise sits at her midriff, giving extra coverage through the middle of the body. The elastic waistband fits comfortably to her body, so the shorts are made to stay put around the waist. This combination suits girls who like a bit more coverage than a low-cut bottom offers, whether they are splashing in shallow water or racing across the deck.

These shorts carry 50+ UV protection, rated according to ASTM D6603. The protection is limited to the areas the fabric covers, so any uncovered skin still needs sunscreen. A rash guard or swim top can add coverage for her shoulders and arms, and it pairs naturally with the higher waist since both sit close to the body.

Pack a dry pair of shorts or a cover-up in her beach bag for the walk back to the car. These bottoms are imported and sit in the girls' swim category, ready for lessons, family beach days, or backyard sprinkler fun. Their fitted shape and stretchy blend keep the focus on play, not on adjusting her swimwear.
