Eagle Claw Bucket Ice Rod Holder

About this find

This Eagle Claw rod holder hooks right over the side of any 5 gallon bucket, so you can keep your rod close while you work. Just hang it over the rim of your minnow or gear bucket and you're ready to fish. It's a simple way to put the bucket you already own to good use on the ice.

The holder is made from steel and covered with a soft touch rubber coating. That rubber layer helps prevent corrosion, so the steel is better protected against moisture. The design is simple, with a single rod holder that hangs over the rim of the bucket.

You can use it to dead stick, which means letting your line sit while you watch the rod tip. It also frees up your hands so you can fish another rod at the same time. Many anglers like to set one rod here and keep a second rod in hand. It's a handy option whenever you want an extra line in the water.
