Falcon XRV Mips Cycling Helmet

About this find

The Bell Falcon XRV Mips is a unisex road cycling helmet with in-mold construction and a polycarbonate outer shell. It has 18 vents and weighs 11.29 ounces. This listing is the small size, made for head circumferences from 20.5 to 22 inches, so it suits riders with a smaller head measurement.

Inside, IONIC+ antimicrobial padding uses silver for helmet odor control. The Float Fit system lets you adjust the fit, and a Fidlock buckle secures the strap. A removable visor is included for riders who like a brim. Take your head measurement before ordering by placing a tape measure level, just above your ears and about 1 inch above your eyebrows.

Mips Evolve is built in for impact protection in certain crashes. The helmet complies with the U.S. CPSC safety standard for bicycle helmets for persons age 5 and older. The large rear vent is made to work with the Blackburn Grid COB rear LED light, which is not included, so you can add visibility to evening rides.

The visor comes off when you want a cleaner look or more open sky. If you ride without the visor on bright days, store it somewhere safe so it does not get lost. Together, the 18 vents, adjustable fit system and safety features make this a solid pick for road riders looking for a dependable helmet.
