Gold Camp UL3 Footprint

About this find

The Gold Camp UL3 Footprint is made to sit under the Gold Camp UL3 Tarp. It gives your ultralight backcountry shelter a layer of ground protection, guarding against moisture, sharp objects, and dirt. The footprint is tailored for this tarp, so you are adding the matching piece rather than guessing at a fit.

It is made from polyester ripstop with a 1500mm waterproof polyurethane coating. A reinforced patch sits where the center pole goes, which gives that spot extra strength where pressure gathers. The footprint is imported and built to keep weight low, a smart goal for anyone carrying a shelter on long trail days.

Care is simple if you follow a few rules. For light cleaning, sponge it with warm water, not hot. For a deeper wash, use a waterproof gear cleaner with a sponge, rinse well, and hang it up to dry. Do not dry clean or machine wash it, and skip bleach and liquid detergents.

Storage matters too. Make sure it is completely dry and free of debris, then keep it in a cool, dry place. Fold and roll it a different way each time to avoid permanent creases. Avoid leaving it in hot spots like a car trunk, and keep prolonged direct sunlight off it.
