The Halfdays Women's Aston Jacket is a regular fit insulated jacket built for cold, wet days on the mountain or around town. The shell and lining are both 100% recycled polyester, and the fill is PrimaLoft Black Insulation ECO made from 100% PCR material. It carries a 20,000 MM waterproof rating and 10k breathability, and the zippers are YKK AquaGuard.

The cut is belted to fit and flare, and the belted waist is removable, so you can cinch it in or wear it with a straight hem and no belt. A high collar adds coverage at the neck, and storm cuffs help keep weather out at the wrists. Underarm vents let extra heat escape when you are working hard.

Pockets are a strong point. There is an exterior chest pocket with an attached phone leash, two exterior hand pockets, and an interior chest pocket. A left forearm pass pocket includes a goggle wipe, which is handy on a lift line or a quick stop on the trail.
