Ion Briefcase

About this find

The Ion Briefcase from Mack Weldon is made for people who work from home, at the office, or a mix of both. It is constructed from heavy-duty, water-resistant industrial twill, so it holds its shape and protects your gear through daily use. That sturdy build makes it a solid partner for a regular commute.

Inside, padded compartments and a non-slip laptop rest keep a 15-inch laptop secure while you move. Mack Weldon also designed the Ion to double as a desk, giving you a steady spot to work from when you need one. A rubberized organizer panel holds your essentials in place and cuts down on rummaging.

You can carry the Ion your way. A detachable shoulder strap lets you wear it cross-body, and when you leave the strap off, you can carry it by the handle alone. A suitcase sleeve is included as well, which is useful when a regular workday turns into a travel day.

If you switch between a cross-body carry and the handle, clip the shoulder strap off while you are seated so the case sits neatly beside you. Padded compartments, a non-slip rest and an organizer panel give each item a set place, so the Ion stays tidy from morning to evening.
