Ion Convertible Backpack

About this find

The Ion Convertible Backpack from Mack Weldon moves between three carrying styles, so you can switch from a backpack to a briefcase to a messenger bag depending on your day. The versatile handles and detachable straps make the change simple, and the sleek profile looks right at home on an office commute.

It is built from 100% industrial twill with waterproof zippers. The zipper compartments help keep everyday essentials organized for commuting, travel, and work. A 15-inch laptop compartment fits a work laptop, and the 35-liter capacity carries what you need without feeling bulky. A silver anti-odor lining adds a practical touch for daily use.

For a polished look on office days, pair it with a crisp button-down and tailored trousers. On casual days, a plain cotton tee and straight-leg jeans suit its simple, understated style. Carry it as a briefcase for meetings, then switch to the backpack straps for a walk or a train ride home.
