The skirt is made from LightSpeed, so the dress pairs a supportive top half with a lighter skirt in a single piece you can step into.

Inside the bodice, there is a built-in shelf bra, which gives the top half some support without adding a separate layer. There is no built-in short liner, though. That leaves the underlayer entirely up to you, so you can choose the shorts or briefs that suit the kind of day you have planned.
