Outdoor Low Serving Bowl

About this find

The Outdoor Low Serving Bowl from Year & Day gives family-style meals a low, wide serving shape. It measures 13.25 inches across and 2.8 inches tall, with a 3.34-liter capacity for sharing pasta, salads or fruit. Set it in the middle of the table with a serving spoon or tongs so everyone can help themselves.

The bowl is made from renewable plant starches and bamboo. Small natural flecks from the bamboo are visible in the finish, giving the surface a little texture and detail. The wide shape leaves room to arrange a salad or spread out a pasta dish, while the low sides make it easy to reach into when serving around the table.

It is dishwasher and microwave safe, which makes it useful for everyday meals as well as dinners outside. Pair it with simple plates and a linen tablecloth for a relaxed setting, or let it hold the main dish alongside smaller bowls of toppings. Its generous capacity also works well for serving several people from one bowl.
