The waist has adjustable elastic tabs that help customize the fit, plus a two-snap closure, belt loops, and a zip fly. Two handwarmer pockets and one zippered thigh pocket give you places to keep small items close. Gaiters help seal out snow, and tough scuff guards protect the inside of the legs and the bottom hem.

Mesh-lined vents at the outer thighs let you release heat quickly when you warm up. A webbing loop on the rear yoke attaches the pants to the powder skirt on any Patagonia Snow jacket, helping keep snow out at the waist. They pair well with a base layer and a warm top for a day in the snow.
