Prince Contender Table Tennis Paddle

About this find

The Prince Contender is a table tennis paddle built around an inverted rubber surface, so the pips face outward to give you more contact with the ball. The rubber is a premium red and black, and it sits on a 2.0mm sponge layer. The blade is an ultra-light 5-ply construction, and the handle is concave, giving your grip a shaped feel.

Its listed ratings are Speed 98, Spin 92 and Control 90, so it is aimed at players who want quick shots, plenty of spin and steady placement. The concave handle suits a shakehands grip, and the light blade can help you keep your wrist moving through longer rallies. For practice, a simple white or black athletic shirt and shorts make an easy, comfortable look.

This is a professional level racket, so it suits players who already know the basics and want equipment that can grow with their game. Style number PTT206 is the model to look for when you order. The paddle is imported, and a table tennis bag or case is a sensible companion for keeping the rubber protected between sessions.
