Redington Classic Trout Fly Rod

About this find

The Redington Classic Trout Fly Rod has a moderate action that bends evenly through the blank, which gives you the delicacy you need on technical spring creeks. It also has enough backbone to handle big river and boat fishing, so one rod can cover more water than you might expect.

The blank is lightweight and has a forgiving action, which can make a long day on the water feel easier on your arm. The dark clay brown blank pairs with a matching rosewood reel seat insert for a clean, understated look. Titanium oxide stripping guides help the line run smoothly, and alignment dots make it quick to line up the sections when you set up your rod.

When you're done fishing, the divided brown ballistic nylon rod tube keeps the two pieces protected for the drive home or the trip to the next stream. It's a simple, practical setup that's easy to carry and easy to get on the water. The rod is imported and comes in model numbers 5-5016T-490-4, 5-5016T-486-4 and 5-5016T-586-4.
