Rite Angler Barrel Swivel

About this find

This Rite Angler barrel swivel is a black fishing connector designed to help keep your line from twisting as you fish. Its barrel shape gives you a solid point to tie on your line, leader or lure. It is available in pound-test ratings from 30 to 350 pounds, so you can choose the strength that suits your rig.

This swivel is Model 7114 and comes in pack sizes of 25, 50 and 100. A smaller pack works well for a quick trip, while a larger pack is handy if you tie a lot of rigs. Each pound-test rating gives you a clear guide, so you can match the swivel to the line you already use.

For lighter setups, pair a lower-test swivel with a light line. When you fish with heavier line, step up to a higher rating. Keeping a few different strengths in your tackle box helps you stay ready for whatever the day brings. It is a practical choice for building your own rigs.
