Salty Crew Women's Beacon Shorts

About this find

The Salty Crew Beacon Shorts are women's shorts with a scalloped hem, which gives the leg openings a soft, wavy edge instead of a straight cut. The waist is elastic with a drawcord, so you can adjust the fit to sit just where you like. The 4-way stretch fabric moves with you as you walk, bend or kneel.

The rear patch pocket is the standout detail. It has a shock cord, a drain hole and a velcro closure, so there is a secure place for small items and an opening where water can drain. A Salty Crew patch sits at the front hem, and a second one is on the back pocket.

These shorts are made from 48% polyester, 42% recycled polyester and 10% elastane. The recycled content comes from REPREVE recycled performance fibers, and the quick dry fabric suits days around water. The inseam is 2 ½ inches and the rise is 10 ¾ inches, which makes for a short length that works well in warm weather.

Check the pocket closure before you head out so small items stay put. The scalloped hem is a nice touch on its own, so a plain tee or tank is all you need to finish the look. Wear them for boat days, beach walks or a lazy afternoon by the pool.
