The Marmot Sawtooth is a men's mummy-shaped sleeping bag for one person, made with backpacking in mind. It is filled with 650-fill-power, RDS-certified down that uses Down Defender to improve water resistance in wet conditions. In the long x-wide size, the bag holds 2 pounds of down fill, weighs 3 lbs. 5.6 oz. and fits people up to 83 inches.

The temperature rating is 15 degrees F (-9 degrees C), tested to the ISO standard. That lower limit rating is for the average warm sleeper, and the tested comfort rating is 27 degrees F. Ratings are a guideline, since comfort depends on many factors. The testing assumes one base layer, a pair of socks and an insulated sleeping pad with an R-value of at least 5.38.

Getting settled is simple. Dual-side half zippers make it easy to climb in and out, and the extended zipper flaps give blanket-like coverage when you leave the bag unzipped. The footbox zipper opens for extra space and closes for extra warmth. An internal stash pocket keeps small items close at night.

The shell is 100% preconsumer recycled ripstop nylon, and the lining is 100% preconsumer recycled nylon taffeta. Both a stuff sack and a storage sack come included, and the long x-wide size packs down to 11.6 liters when compressed.
