Sidestreet Bike Helmet

About this find

The Sidestreet Bike Helmet from Cannondale is built for recreational cycling, with MIPS Air Node Protection. MIPS, short for Multidirectional Impact Protection System, is designed to dissipate rotational impact in certain types of crashes. The Evolve version of MIPS brings this technology to a wide range of helmet types.

The outer polycarbonate shell and inner foam layer are bonded through in-mold construction into one solid piece. The IntelliVent design includes a full-width brow vent, 6 top vents and 5 exhaust vents for airflow. An inner elastic band adjusts to the contours of your head as you move, helping the helmet stay stable. Removable pads can be taken out for drying, washing or replacing. A sturdy fixed visor helps keep sun and rain out of your eyes.

To find your size, position a tape measure just above your ears and about 1 inch above your eyebrows, keeping it level around the largest part of your head. Then match that measurement to the sizing chart: S is 20.1 to 21.7 inches, M is 21.7 to 23.2 inches, and L is 23.2 to 24.8 inches. The helmet weighs 12.7 ounces and is unisex.
