Spicer Peak 4 Footprint

About this find

The Spicer Peak 4 Footprint from Big Agnes is a ground cover made to go under your tent. Big Agnes recommends using a footprint to extend the life of your tent floor, so it sits between the floor and the ground you camp on. It gives the floor a layer of added protection over many nights outdoors.

This footprint also opens the door to a lighter way of camping. It lets you pitch a lightweight Fast Fly shelter while leaving the tent body behind. That can be a smart choice on trips where you want to carry less weight and still have a dependable place to sleep, using the main parts of your Spicer Peak 4 setup.

The Fast Fly configuration needs four things: the footprint, the tent fly, the poles, and the stakes. Each piece plays a part in this setup, so all four go together whenever you choose it. Because this footprint is made for the Spicer Peak 4, it is a natural match if you already own that tent and want both options.

Before you head out, lay the footprint, fly, poles, and stakes together and check that all four are there. Doing this at home takes only a minute, and it means you can pick either setup at camp without surprises. It is a small habit that keeps a lighter trip running smoothly from the first night to the last.
