The Vasque St. Elias Waterproof Hiking Boots for women are lace-up boots that rise over the ankle. The uppers are full-grain leather, about 1.8 to 2 mm thick, which gives an easier break-in. A GORE-TEX waterproof membrane adds waterproof, windproof and breathable protection, built for a long product life.

Underfoot, the dual-density midsole pairs an EVA support rim for stability with high-energy return EVA pods for cushioning where you need it most. The footbeds contain 20% bio-content polyurethane. The Vasque-exclusive Vibram Megagrip outsole is made for traction and comfort on short and long trips, so these boots suit both quick outings and longer days on the trail.

The shape follows a Summit form and fit, built on a straight line last with a classic hiking profile. Rockered toes and positive lock heel pockets are part of the design. The collars and tongue foams are 33% bio-based, the toe boxes and heel counters have 60% recycled content, and the laces have 80% recycled content.
