The Stardust Skirt from Outdoor Voices is a short pleated skirt made in LightWave fabric, a new lightweight, quick-drying and sweat-wicking fabric. Narrow, evenly spaced pleats flare out toward the hem, giving the skirt a neat shape with room to move. The pleats are made to hold, even after washing.

At the waist, an elasticized band is finished with a drawcord tied in a bow at the front. The cord tails hang down over the pleats, adding a playful detail to the top of the skirt. A side zipper is part of the design too, so the waist is not just a simple pull-on.

Look closely at the hem and you will find a few small details. A hand-embroidered OV signature sits near the lower hem on the front right side, written in a small script. Visible topstitching runs along the hem edge, which gives the bottom of the skirt a clean outline.

Because the fabric is lightweight and sweat-wicking, this skirt suits warm days, from errands to casual get-togethers. A plain tee or fitted tank lets the pleats and the bow detail stand out. Quick-drying fabric also means less waiting around after a rinse, which is handy when you want to pack light.
