The lenses are polarized and block 100% UVA, UVB and UV400 wavelengths. They also pass the FDA basic impact test. Two options are offered: Amber has an amber tint and Gold has a gray tint, and each lets through 10 percent of light. The lenses are not photochromic, so the tint stays the same.
