These high-waisted, wide-leg pants take their cue from 70s style. They are made from garment-dyed stretch terry, a blend of 71% cotton, 18% rayon, 9% lyocell and 2% elastane. The fabric has the softness and washed character of favorite denim, along with the stretch of lounge pants, and the garment dye gives the pants a lived-in color.

The cut is fitted through the waist and leads into a slim wide-leg shape, with a 19-inch leg opening. The front rise measures 11 1/4 inches, so the waist sits high, and the inseam is 32 inches. Patch pockets on the front and back add a classic casual detail and give you a place for small everyday items.

A fitted knit top pairs well with a high waist, since it keeps the shape of the pants clear from top to bottom. A plain tee or a light sweater would work just as nicely. Measurements are based on a size 27, and the model, who is 5'10", wears a size 27.

To care for them, close all zippers and turn the pants inside out before washing. Machine wash cold with like colors on the delicate cycle, and do not use bleach. Tumble dry low and remove them promptly. Use a warm iron when needed.
