Sunline Super Fluorocarbon Fishing Line

About this find

This Sunline Super Fluorocarbon line is made from 100% fluorocarbon, so you get one consistent material from your first cast to your last. It comes on a 200 yard spool, and Sunline describes it as their entry level fluorocarbon product, which makes it a solid choice if you're trying fluorocarbon for the first time.

The line has a uniform diameter along the whole spool, so it feels the same from one end to the other. You can choose 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 or 20 pound test. Each size has a listed diameter, such as 0.0104 inches for 8 pound and 0.0150 inches for 20 pound, so you can match the line to the rig you're building.

The line offers high abrasion resistance and knot strength, which helps when you're tying knots and fishing around rough cover. The 12 pound size pairs well with a light spinning reel for everyday freshwater trips, while the 20 pound size suits heavier line needs in tougher spots.
