This 10-pack of the Staple Short Classic Crew Neck from True Classic is made from a 60% cotton and 40% polyester blend. The blend gives you the softness and breathability of cotton with the durability and easy stretch of polyester jersey. The body is 2 inches shorter than the Classic Crew, with a collar-to-hem cut meant to look cleaner and more proportional.

The fit is snug around the arms and shoulders, with a relaxed torso and a shortened hem. It is cut to sit at a standard length on guys 5'8 and under, and to skim the waistband on guys 5'9 and taller. That shorter body makes layering simpler, because less fabric bunches under a jacket, open flannel or cardigan.

The pack includes ten shirts: two black, two navy, two heather gray, two white, one military green and one carbon. That gives you plenty of rotation in neutral shades that go with jeans, chinos or straight-leg trousers. Wear one on its own, or keep a few for layering under shirts and jackets.

Care is simple, but note that the shirt may shrink up to 5% in a regular wash and dry. For best results, lay it flat or use a low-temp dryer. Skip the high heat setting to help each shirt keep its shape wash after wash, and check the fit before you cut off any tags.
