The Salewa Wildfire Canvas Approach Shoes are the lightest in the Wildfire family, built to keep feet cool on summer hikes while still handling some climbing. The uppers are recycled cotton and hemp canvas, and a full 360° TPU rand wraps around them for protection. The pair weighs 1 lb. 2.1 oz., and the ankle-height, lace-up design holds the foot in place on the trail.

Support starts at the heel. The 3F System uses nylon-coated Kevlar cables to add stability there while keeping the fit precise. Climbing lacing lets you adjust the fit, stretch gaiter collars sit snug around the ankle, and rubber toe cups add protection up front.
