Woodstock Initial Charm

About this find

The Woodstock Initial Charm from Stone and Strand is made from 14K solid yellow gold. It measures approximately 17.9mm x 11mm, which makes it a compact pendant that carries a single letter. The gold is solid, and it will not tarnish or flake, so this is a charm made to be worn often and kept close.

The bail, the small loop at the top, has an inner diameter of approximately 4.6mm x 4.6mm. That measurement matters when you choose a chain, because the chain has to pass through that opening. A chain is not included, so you can hang the charm on one you already own or pick a new one.

Each charm's measurement varies by letter, so the sizes listed are approximate and can shift from one initial to the next. If you are planning a set, perhaps your own initial next to the initials of people you love, keep that in mind when you compare sizes. Check the bail opening on each letter before you buy a chain.

The solid yellow gold has a warm, classic look that sits comfortably beside other gold jewelry. Because the letter is the focus, it makes a personal piece for everyday wear or a thoughtful gift. Try wearing it on its own first so the letter is easy to read against your neckline.
