Wyoming Trail 4 Footprint

About this find

The Big Agnes Wyoming Trail 4 Footprint is made to go under the 2022 Wyoming Trail 4 Tent. It is made from polyester taffeta with a 1500mm waterproof polyurethane coating. Placed beneath your tent, it helps protect the tent floor and extends the life of the floor over many nights outside.

This footprint also gives you a lighter way to camp. In the Fast Fly configuration, you pitch just the fly over the footprint and leave the tent body behind. That setup needs the footprint, tent fly, poles, and stakes, so check that all four are in your pack before you leave for the trailhead.

Care matters for coated fabric. For light cleaning, sponge it with warm water, never hot. For a deeper clean, use a waterproof gear cleaner such as Nikwax Tech Wash, work it in gently with a sponge, then rinse well. Do not machine-wash or dry clean it, and skip bleach and liquid detergents.

Always hang the footprint up to dry completely before you store it. Storing it damp can cause mildew, which may lead to odor, leaks, or delamination. Keep it in a cool, dry place and out of hot spots like a car trunk. Fold it a different way each time to avoid permanent creases.
