Z-Man Shadtron LT Swimbait

About this find

The Z-Man Shadtron LT Swimbait is built to look like a shad, one of the most common freshwater forage fish. The body has a gill plate, eye, scales, and fin detail, so it reads as a real baitfish in the water. A rounded, wedge-shaped tail gives it a natural swimming action across a wide range of speeds, even on very slow retrieves.

The body is made from 10X Tough ElaZtech material, which is made to stand up to repeated strikes from gamefish. A weighted harness and buoyant superplastic material work together so the lure keeps an upright posture on the slowest retrieves, on the fall, and even when it rests on the bottom.

The over/under line-through harness gives you two ways to rig it. Use the included single hook for top hook rigging, or add a treble hook for belly rigging. The lure comes in two sizes, 4.5 inches with a 3/0 hook and 6 inches with a 5/0 hook. Both use custom heavy-duty sickle-shaped black nickel needlepoint hooks, designed to balance strength and penetration.

Pick the 4.5 inch size when you want a smaller bait, and the 6 inch size when you want a bigger profile. This swimbait is imported.
